I Made Heart Cookies at Work

I did them conversation hearts style, with a unique phrase on each one.  On over a hundred cookies.  Here’s a sample:

They aren’t all this negative.  I made sure to include a lot of smarmily romantic ones too, along with a bunch of song lyric ones.  They’ll be posted on Valentine’s Day, so please come back to check them out.

Yuusha likes Slayers

Well actually, he just sat at the foot of my bed and watched the entire opening. Then he left the room to see why his brother was making noise.

Something’s Missing Here – Oh and Kittens.

The missing thing is the webcomic.  I took it down again.  Why?  Because I am a moron and started it again, even though I had no time to make updates.  Will it come back again?  Yes, sometime in the future.

If this disappoints anyone, I’m sorry.  Here’s a wall of pictures of my  kittens to cheer you up:

Mini Milk Crate Charging Dock

I made this a couple days ago to have all my charging electronics in one place.  Made out of three miniature milk crates, 12 zip ties, a spare prismacolor marker, a photo frame stand, and a power strip; this badass charges my PSP, 3DS, and Android Tablet/eReader simultaneously.  It costs just marginally more than four dollars, assuming you already have the power strip.

Some notes I’ll like to add:

1.  The prismacolor marker is to keep the tablet from falling out of it’s crate.  A short dowel or another type of marker could be used similarly.  I just had the prismacolor handy.

2.  The photo frame holder is to hold the PSP.  I should get a better one.

My (Possibly Temporary) Cat

Recently I obtained a cat.  This was a cat that I was lead to believe to be a very small kitten.  He ended up being a very nearly full grown cat, complete with a rather nasty habit of biting all the freaking time.  This what happens when you get a pet sight unseen from a friend of a coworker.  They didn’t even know what gender he was until the day I picked him up.  Which is strange because anyone looking at the back end of that cat can quite obviously see he’s a male.

He is extremely hard to handle.  And I’m rather good at handling cats.  He can sweet as can be and likes to cuddle at times.  It’d be nice except for the fact that once he’s nestled in your lap, he will start biting the ever-loving shit out of you.

Anyway, apparently the original owner is going to take him back this weekend, barring a sudden 180° in his demeanor.  I do feel sad about it, because I have actually gotten attached to him.  Even though I can’t sleep when he’s around – due to the fact that he’s attack any exposed body parts with claws- he’s still a good kitty in a lot of respects.  We’ve spent a lot of time together so I am going to miss him.
